Wow can you believe we are over half way through 2025. Where does the time go? Einstein said, “Time is an illusion”. Basically, he meant that time is relative to each person’s perspective of it. People often say they do not have enough time. I was at a gathering the other day and one of the ladies said she had planted a ton of thyme in her garden. She now proclaims, I have so much thyme (time)! So, what are we doing with our time? In the summer we try to pack it all in, especially here in the Midwest as summer is so short. I know I am guilty of it too. But the more you pack in, the less time you feel like you have.

So, instead of packing in more work, housework, and errands; why not pack in more self-care, more time in nature, and more time with family. Grab a good book and read in the garden, or learn a new hobby, or just spend time at the lake with those you love.

I am taking my own advice on this and heading to the lake for the holiday weekend, with those I love. If you are looking for a little guided self-care, check out my offerings below.

August 10th at 11:30 AM-Intro to Cycle Syncing at Shore Yoga Studio, located in St. Clair Shores. This class is one hour. We will be going through all four phases of our menstrual cycle and using mindfulness and movement to move through the phases. The class is $35/person.
