March 2025 Newsletter
I had a client ask me at one of my somatic practices if I could write out a document to pass out at my classes with all the information I give during the class. She said she wanted to follow a cyclical way of living but had a hard time remembering all the details. I decided to include the information in this newsletter. I hope it encourages all women to live cyclically and I hope it helps. Always remember to listen to your body and if you feel this information goes against what your body is telling you then do what your body says. Also, if you are only reading my emails for my juicy self-care offerings, then scroll down to the bottom. Lots of upcoming self-care ahead. Without further ado here is the second phase of woman’s cycles. The rest will come out in the following newsletters. Â
Cycle Phase Information
Follicular Phase
 Inner Spring, waxing moon, maiden, growth ~days 7-12
Foods to eat during this phase-Hydrating fruits and vegs (light sautés, steamed veg) you want to eat warming foods during this phase.  Eat foods high in vitamin E (soaked almonds, sunflower seeds, avocado), liver supporting foods (lemon, grapefruit), cruciferous vegs (broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, Bok choy), foods that build energy and support follicular growth (sprouts and microgreens, berries), grains (oats, barley, rye, wheat), protein (pasture raised eggs and chicken, coconut yogurt, trout), veggies ( carrots, leafy greens, parsley, sauerkraut, pickles, onion, kimchi, olives, green beans, broccoli, avocado, artichoke, lettuce, zucchini), fruit (bananas, pomegranate, citrus fruits, cherries), beans and nuts and seeds (kidney beans, lentils, cashews, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, string beans), nut butters, spices (turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, cumin), fermented foods (pickles, sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha). Â
Exercise during this phase- cardio at least 30 minutes, strength training.Â
Teas-Days 1-14 Nettle Tea. Days 15-30 Dandelion tea
Seed Cycling (I highly recommending researching and adding this to your everyday habits)-Days 1-14 or new moon to full moon (if you no longer bleed)-pumpkin and flax seeds (1 TB each/ day). Day 15-30 or full moon to new moon (if you no longer bleed)-sunflower and sesame seeds (1TB each/day).
